THIS IS A STATEMENT WRITTEN TO TSK TO THEIR FORUM ON THE CULTURE & HISTORY:

"Well, as most of you probably know by now, I and Lady Herodias, have taken over TCK in order to rebuild it as a viable guild to compliment our sister guild TSK.

My first status statement as the guild leader reads roughly something like this:
"A New start. We are going to attempt to rebuild TCK once again. Our focus will be to teach the workings of the game to less experienced players, maintaining a family atmosphere, encourage a relaxed atmosphere, impromptu events, and set an example for others. Having Fun is what we invision for TCK!"

As you can see, and to the disappointment of some of you, we will not be focused at all on pvp. That does not exclude impromptu pvp events, but we will just not be focusing on any type of organized, build making activities in that regard. Our focus is for people to play in a relaxed way with any character or skill set they feel comfortable with. Any pvp'ing to be done will be with the intent to have fun, foster closeness, and to encourage a relaxed atmosphere where the group can laugh when we do not perform well.

Anyone wishing to pvp in a more serious capacity, will be encouraged to seek out like minded spirits from TSK for event building, since TSK has more elite players, the expertise in this area and they will be better able to assist them.

Also, we will still be encouraging our members to participate in the various pvp arenas offered in the game since that is a major fun factor of the game, but the formation of those groups will be between individual players within the guild so that they can take it as seriously as they wish without forcing others in the guild to feel obligated to be pvp'ers. We would encourage and support those cliques within the guild since they will be primarily interacting between each other and not making expectations on others. Also, they would be a good teaching source for less experienced players to experience and learn those arena's.

Having said that about organized pvp, we will gladly offer our guild hall to any groups from within the alliance to practice builds in rated gvg so as to not injure the rating of TSK. We could care less if TCK's rating fell to 6,000,000,000 out of 6,000,000,001 (I know thats not possible) and I would actually wear that as a badge of honor as something to laugh and joke about.

I surmise that there will be several occasions cropping up that will involve much shuffling of players back and forth between our guilds for various purposes as well as players becoming more serious and elite wishing to move over to TSK from TCK. Though moving players constantly back and forth for functions and events can be a pain, it will be done gladly on our part so as to foster the greater well being of the Alliance. Hopefully that will work in reverse as well, having players in TSK that wish to perhaps slow down or take a lighter approach to the game, be encouraged to join us either permanently or temporarily.

Regardless of where a person wishes to reside, our doors will be always open within the our alliance to anyone that wants to experience what we are doing for short or long term. This Alliance ability is what was missing in the early stages of Guild Wars, before, however since the creation of the Alliances, as well as Ventrillo, both guilds will have an opportunity to interact.

I guess to summarize the difference between the guilds in an analogy (Lady hates when I do this): TSK is the Nascar (or Formula 1 for our European contingent) racer that is striving for that extra ounce of speed to make the difference between being good and being great, whereas, TCK is the family car out for a ride through the countryside enjoying the scenery and stopping for a picnic. Both are wonderful pursuits, and I hope that difference gives us more to offer people as an Alliance."
