Re: Going away
Glad for you, sad for me.
Its good that you are enjoying yourself, sounds like a lot of fun. I do miss your witty interchanges with Nursey and your company.
I am slow getting to know people at KISS but I started slow at TCK too. Of course they have a lot to measure up to, TCK was the best and will always be home,

That is fantastic Gunter!!!
How healthy and busy for you guys!!!!!
Take some pics and post them! But no dead critters please. My heart cannot stand seeing dead critters. Or at least make it so the critters look less dead...

Re: Going away
Well, being the fickle person that I am, I have found another guild. KISS is/was an excellent guild, plenty of advanced players and a great place to learn, especially if you are an assasin. They are so advanced that sometimes they forget about having fun, they were not impressed with my death count...sigh. But while I was in Texas this summer I met a neighbor of my daughter who has been playing Guild Wars since its inception. He heard from my daughter I was searching for a guild and invited me to the alliance AOL (Army of Light). There are several guilds and after chatting with the guild leaders I landed in NUBZ. It is great, fun oriented, and I have no problem finding a group to play with. I am currently working on my EOTN titles and have filled 3 Hero Handbooks in just over a week. We decided last night to try hard mode but the ghosty things in Blood for Blood handed us our heads on a platter. We are each going to some research and see what we can do about them, so far as a warrior I don't seem to be able to do much but I am still looking.
Still miss you guys
Still miss you guys

Re: Going away
Probably should start a new topic called Here's Danny....lol
Just wanted to tell you I just finished UW in HM. How cool is that. I went as the only nuker and held my own. Your little boy is growing up. I know Gunter will be proud!! ROFL
It was a lot of fun, we had 8 people and was led by a perma sin tanking. We had a couple of close calls but only a couple of people ever died...and I wasn't one of them!!!!

Still miss the old crowd.
As always,
PS Tomorrow we are doing Slavers...how cool!

Re: Going away
That's awesome Dan! Congrats! I'm glad to see that you've found a group that you are enjoying. How did Slaver's go?
I'm still waiting on getting an UW and FOW trophy for my HOM....lol think the guild/alliance run through that happened last week was about the 6th time I've missed out on a FOW group. Oh well I guess I've still got lots of time to cross those off the to-do list

Re: Going away
Wellll....
I could tell you how awesome it was and what a blast I had, but that would be BS. Unfortunately real life imposed its ugly head and the leader had to beg out and post pone. We tried any way and were wiped in the second room. But we tried without the buffs that the leader had. We are going to try again later this week (I hope).

Re: Going away
...surprise surprise indeed, wasn't expecting to see that when I logged in today
. Welcome back Gunter, how was Hawaii?
Think this is actually gonna be the first Halloween in Guild Wars that I've ever been around for, always seemed to miss em for one reason or another every other year.
Supposedly there is a new quest for Halloween this year, something to do with evil in the Underworld stirring up and Mad King Thorn needing help. No word on whether it's going to be at UW difficulty level or anything or what exactly the reward will be. But ANet is making a point of saying that it will be a one time only event (as in only happening during this years Halloween).
I've got a feeling that it could possibly be something to do with a dragon awakening in the Underworld maybe?.....possibly introducing a bit of lore that may lead into GW2? wishful thinking maybe... Another possibility is that maybe ANet is going to fix UWSC and introduce some new monsters to the UW that will remain there after the Halloween quest/event?
The quest is available starting on Monday Oct. 26th.
