Recruitment Party

Well,

Heres my crazy thoughts...and I am throwing it out to you all. Let's have a recruitment party! With the down turn in players, I thought it might be interesting to see what we could do to get more active players....including myself....to get involved in recruiting.

I told Gunter I would like to have a recruiting party. Make all the active players officers for a week and let them recruit. The person that recruits the most players at the end of the week would get 50,000 gold and of course a spot in the officership.

We all know that keeping this guild alive is about activity and new blood. The older players are now playing the Elite areas and would like to continue to, but we also need to really focus on getting groups together helping other people out. I know I'm tooting the horn even though I have not been active, but I will commit to trying to keep growth in the guild.

The rules are:

1) If you bring them in, you must at least try to mentor them.
2) They should be referred to our forum to complete the application within 24 hours.
3) When they come in and see all the officers...tell them we are having a recruiting party. If they refer someone AND his/her friend completes an application online indicating they were referred by a new player...he/she will get 750 gold (you get 250g).
4) Introduce them to whoever is on and see if anyone is willing to play with them
5) Make sure you explain the no cussing in chat or alliance
6) Make sure that maturity (I mean in demeanor) is the key.

There is a 2 week introduction for which we or he/she can decide if this is the guild for them!

I'm not sure if this will work, but I thought we would try it. If each person brings in one or 2 people then it would be worth it. If this becomes a tie...then I think we will throw the money in a lottery and those who brought in the same amount of people will pick a number. The 50k will go to the winner!

Oh by the way...Gunter and I am not participating, but we will help!

I was told by Gunter I had to have a plan...so...I will be talking to people this week about their interest in attending my party. So if you are willing to take part in this recruiting party, I will make you an officer for a couple of weeks. The requirement will be that you abide by the suggested rules. If you have read this post...and your interested in the incentive, then please talk to me. I will be available all this week!
