Hi guys,

Does anyone know of any guides for HHing Grand Court of Sebelkeh. I am going with my Rit and am configured for Spirit Spammer at the moment. I have made several attempts but keep missing masters by a mile. I have only finished Night Fall one other time and it was with Gunter and Animus and a few other old timers. Nothing i have found so far has been any help so any advice is greatly appreciated. Oh and I am trying to get legendary on this toon using HH only, I have completed ...

I stumbled upon this program the other day while browsing the Guild Wars Guru forums. It's somewhat similar to GWFreak in that it allows you to edit and create build templates and export them into Guild Wars. The only difference being that it is still supported/updated and has a LOT more functionality.

I have only used it so far to create a few build templates. But it also allows you to make equipment templates and allows you to work on the templates for an entire team at once. It uses ...

I recently made the plunge and purchased a mule account and was looking for a way to run two copies of Guild Wars at the same time to enable trading between my accounts.

There have been a few programs over the years but it appears that most of them were a bit cumbersome when it came to game updates. A program called Guild Wars Multi-Launch that just came out a couple months ago apparantly solves all these issues. Here is a link to the thread for it on the Guild Wars Guru forum.

I decided to give raptor farming a go over the Halloween festivities in order to stock up on ToT bags. I will take no credit for this build, I found it on PvX wiki and watched a guide on using the build on Youtube. This run will only work in Hard Mode (you are moving to fast while collecting aggro in NM and the raptors will break away) and it requires a P/Rt hero with a very simple build as well. The sole purpose of the P/Rt hero is to give you an increased speed buff so that you can kill ...

I recently filled up my menagerie for no reason other than for the sake of completing it (well, I'm still missing a Moss Spider but Nicholas has to give that up at some point). With the recent update to Rangers and specifically pets, Beastmaster builds are becoming more popular and thus people are charming pets more often. Some people are also just unlocking all the pet evolutions for the sake of it. There's the old method to death leveling a pet, specifically to the Dire evolution, by attacking ...

There are guides for every mission in GW. I do not endorse the site, but it would have been nice to look at when I was a noob. I cannot attest as to whether it is current or even correct, but it is nicely done and the links and maps download instantly for me.

Found a great guide to clearing the elite NF zone Domain of Anguish with or without heroes. If going with heroes, a minimum of 3 players are still required to run specific tasks if the group plans to be effective. Using builds found in these guides, it seems an average run is taking around 2-2.5 hours for a full clear, which is quite fast.

When holiday events come around I try to do a little farming to get some sweets/booze/party items/whatever else is dropping. In that sense, it doesn't really matter what sort of items a monster drops, all I care about is that I can kill a lot of things really fast and then repeat it really quickly. I personally get sick of raptor farming really quickly, so I looked around for some other way farm that sort of stuff.

While the CwD Rit team can be fun, it requires a lot of coordination to pull off and excludes people from coming that aren't a Rit or Monk. So, here's another AB team build that works very well, can cap shrines very fast, and also can dominate most player groups. Overall, it's a more flexible team, but is slightly less specialized.

I was reading some forums earlier and found a very useful post regarding normalizing volume in Ventrilo. What this does is automatically adjust incoming sound so that it is roughly the same volume all the time. This means that you don't have to individually adjust everyone's volume so that you can hear them or not be deafened by them. Also, it actively adjusts the volume as someone speaks, so if someone suddenly sneezes or something, it'll quickly drop the volume so you don't get your ears ...

I read about the idea for this AB team build recently and wanted to test it out with a few changes. Earlier tonight, Ahou, Animus, Jebus, and I ran it a few times in AB and it worked pretty well, though we obviously need some practice still. I'll share it here so anyone interested can read about it and join in, if interested. This is a very specialized capping team, but it can hold it's own 4v4 and can sometimes break up a rather large mob.

Simply post what builds you have used that worked for you. Hero or human builds, PvE or PvP, no matter. This is not a place to discuss or argue or defend or whatever. This is simply meant to be a place where a new user or an old vet can get a feel on what others have used for a certain profession. This isn't about what is right (my builds), but what can and has worked.

In this thread, I plan on sharing some of my favorite builds for each class, both for players and heroes. I'll make gear suggestions, explain how the build is supposed to work, and provide insight into why certain skills were chosen.

For classes that I haven't played, I'll only list my favorite hero builds since I have no experience personally using the class.

I'll periodically edit the posts with any changes or new ideas. When I do, I'll make a note of it.

Oh snap, did I just really say that? The first awesome healing spell? The closest thing to 'regen' in Guildwars? A giant Energy vacuum?

I've heard a lot of folk complain their Hero Monks aren't good at doing much aside from dieing. I bet pennies to pounds they got two main problems. One, Monks should NOT have a Rez (it stops them from Healing ...

Alright, this is to help you so that you don't have to add individuals privileges every single time. I tried to set this up as a "Ventrilo For Dummies" sort of deal.

1. Go to User Editor once logged on as Admin

2. At top you will see Profiles

(You can either edit the already made member/admin ones or add your own. I will show you how to add your own to avoid any future confusion.)

3. Just set the profiles to none at the moment to avoid confusion.

Funny story, i did A TON of work on this build and trying to post it on PVX wiki too find out it was a "terrible"

build. it is an AB build that does lack a running skill. So I am going to skip the complaints and describe the build

This mission has had some .. changes. Those are noted in the thread in Discussion. I am going to post just the build here.

Here is what got me the Master's, twice so far. I'll note role and important skills, since I think most of our experienced H&Hers could quickly adjust this to thier set-ups. If you do this with another live player, just making 2 balanced squads should work. (he may banish one of you - but the other squad can take Shiro while your Hero's take your replacement).

When I read about this mission before doing it, it seemed that it was easier to do it with just Heroes and Henchmen, as they weren't banished. For those that haven't done it, Shiro will banish one of your party members to an island and replace them with a summoned helper for himself of the same class as the banished player. So, you could say ... lose a monk but he gets one! Not fair! Players that are banished can get back on their own, Henchmen can't.

Well, now he banishes henchmen too! ...

Cherubim,

In my neverending battle to not suck, I've played around with my screen setup many many times. Here is the latest:

I have my skill charge underneath the badguy's health, and any conditions/hexes above my skillbar.

I was just wondering if anyone else has messed around with their setup? Or if anyone else has remapped keys?

Ok, I am here at work taking my 15 minute break and can't access any of the build sites 'cause the government computer blocks it. I suddenly got a bee up my butt and started playing my 2 1/2 year old Necro/Mo. she is only level 18 but I have just bought most of her elite armor and am finally taking her a tad seriously. I have dabbled in low end mm builds but since she is an old baby, she had very few skills open.

Now i want to have some skills to shoot for so I need to have one or 2 builds ...
